Pomegranate Flower Essence and the Sacred Feminine

Pomegranate ushers us down to meet
The Sacred Feminine and her seeds so sweet
Bearing fruit, luscious and red
Into her labyrinth
I am led
Isha Lerner, Power of Flowers

Do you ever lose sight of yourself and your sacred femininity in the push and hurry of life?

Would you like to feel more creative and more nurtured but somehow there’s never enough time and space for that? There’s never enough time and space for you?

If you yearn to explore your fertile creativity, you are being called by pomegranate flower essence.

If you find it difficult to nurture yourself and tend to your own needs, you are being called by pomegranate.

If you want to express your creativity but don’t know where best to focus your attention, you are being called.

If your body is whispering messages of pain or illness or imbalance from your reproductive system, you are being called.

Pomegranate flower essence will nurture you with the creative energy of the sacred feminine. It enables you to reconnect with your fertile creativity and express it in a loving and balanced way.

When you take pomegranate essence you’ll dissolve your subconscious barriers to nurturing yourself and find it easier to meet your own needs. As your own needs are met, you’ll be able to balance your creative needs with the needs of your family, your career and the world.

When you take pomegranate flower essence you walk into the labyrinth of sacred femininity, finding yourself again in the centre.

Can you sense the powerful presence of your sacred feminine there in the centre of the labyrinth?

Her wild beauty, intuitive wisdom and creative freedom? Wise eyes shining, cheeks flushed with joy, bracelets jangling, bright colours flashing, bare feet dancing on the earth. She might be laughing or singing or calling your name.

As you step towards the labyrinth you are softening.

Pomegranate flower essence opens the gateway to this labyrinth, reconnecting you with your fertile creativity. The labyrinth is always there for you, waiting for you to enter.

Pomegranate is an incredibly luscious and beautiful flower essence to take. It’s been in my blend over the past couple of months as I rediscover ways to nurture myself and express my creativity outside of my working life.

We can set intentions or write affirmations to try to change our ways of being but these can only go so far because they work in the mind. For me, the failure to nurture my sacred feminine had become so hard-wired in my system that I could have journalled it into oblivion but still not shifted the pattern. It was deeply embedded, outwith the reach of the mind.

To experience real shifts in consciousness we need to change the energy of the unbalanced patterns in our bodies, our emotional field and entire energy system – not just the mind. Vibrational medicine like flower and gem essences are the best way I’ve found to do this because they reach beyond the mind right into your Soul, releasing all those aspects of the self that aren’t aligned to love.

Pomegranate flower essence is much needed at this time of year when we can run round in circles trying to do everything for everyone else when actually our Souls call us to go within and meet ourselves.

The Soul message of pomegranate is a reminder that only YOU can give yourself what you need and when you do, you know you’ve come home.

Try one or all of these ideas to connect with your sacred feminine and give yourself the nurturing you need.

  • Take pomegranate flower essence – it’s one of the essences in the Self-Nurture Soul Blend that makes a wonderful self-nurturing gift for yourself.
  • Close your eyes, take 10 slow deep breaths and turn your attention to the left (feminine) side of your body. Quietly ask how it feels, what it needs and be open to any messages you receive.
  • Paint a pomegranate flower on your belly (I like to use permanent markers even though they sadly do wash off eventually).
  • Light a special candle to honour your sacred femininity and make a wish.
  • Put your favourite aromatherapy oils in a burner or light some incense, close your eyes and allow the scent to carry you away in your imagination.
  • Pull out your oracle cards and quietly ask which card can best help you nurture your femininity. I love these.
  • Listen to music that conveys the wild beauty of the sacred feminine. This is my favourite.
  • Open your journal and write uncensored on these themes: How do I honour my inner feminine? How do I betray my inner feminine? What are the creative seeds inside my womb?

While I was taking pomegranate essence a powerful and ancient part of me rose up wanting to reclaim the beauty and mystery of my creativity. I signed up to Goddess Leonie’s Creative Goddess E-course to be held in a safe and nurturing place to do so.

Me who used to draw tiny perfect pencil drawings and delicate miniature silk paintings is now an untamed abstract wild woman! I’m painting big on canvas with my fingers, my hair (oops), feathers, moss, mud and oh yes paintbrushes too while losing myself in the sensual pleasures of the process. It’s sacred and it’s feminine and it’s gorgeous. You might love it too.

I’m going to be delving into this Holiday Gift Pack from Pleasure Nutritionist Daphne Cohn over the holidays – it’s filled with wisdom and inspiration from 13 divine females including Goddess Leonie, Jen Louden and Gabrielle Bernstein. I’m excited about using Pamela Moss’s Treasure Mapping Vision Board Kit to discover my power words and use collage for daily inspiration. I know my body’s going to feel nurtured by the Instant Energy Holiday Kit which includes new smoothie recipes (I really must deviate from melon, spinach, parsley and banana at least once…..).

There are so many ways to nurture your sacred feminine. I’d love to hear how you nurture yours.

P.S. The link to Creative Goddess E-course is an affiliate one, the others aren’t. Just so you know.

I love to eat pomegranates, but never once thought of their flowers. They are beautiful! I am becoming more intrigued with flower essences because of you, Jackie.

Oh Loran, flower essences are just the most powerful energetic tools to clear unhealthy patterns. They reach those parts of the soul that other approaches don’t touch and are so so gentle yet deep in their touch. I’m so glad you’re becoming more intrigued! xx

I nuture my sacred feminine through the arts. If I allow the pauses to be filled with dance, or taking a photograph, writing, painting instead of worry, endless web searching, or circular conversations with my inner critic, then I feel her power. Of course she likes it when I just allow the silence in the moments in between too, ususally out in nature.

I love what you say about nurturing the sacred feminine by allowing the pauses to be filled with right brain activities and nature – so perfect xx

I think I could probably do with explore my sacred femininity in a non-sexual sense…

I’ve never been a particularly “girly” girl, and I sometimes feel that my energy is more masculine than feminine. The times my femininity mostly comes through tend to be in association sexuality… do you think pomegranate would help me to explore femininity outside of that realm, Jackie?

    Blessings

Tanja, like you I’m not a girly girl either, but the power of the sacred feminine is very deep regardless of how much masculine energy we carry. Pomegranate helps you to soften into yourself, allowing and yielding and being more gentle with yourself. It awakens the right brain side that is the seat of so much creativity and intuition, so that life comes less from the head and more from a deeper sense of being xx

I so believe in the power of flower essences but I hadn’t hear of the benefits of pomegranate! As it relates to Persephone I’m not surprised how much deep feminine healing it offers.

I love the flowers, Jackie. I actually have a pomegranate tree in my tiny but very rich garden. The flowers are gorgeous and vibrant and my son loves to eat and make magic potions out of the fruit. We just picked the last one for this year.

And I agree with you that flower essences are pure magic! They just skip the whole mind and brain stuff and go deep into our souls. I don’t know how that works but it does ; ).

    Love, Karina

I’ve always considered myself feminine and have long been drawn to the feminine divine.. but I’ve only recently realized that I am very rigid in my think — very hard and unyielding. I am looking to relax and be “softer”.. I think it’s time for me to work with this theme! Thank you dear Jackie!

Oh Sara I hear you on the rigidity, it’s part of the Taurean soul medicine to honour the certainty and the determination without getting stuck in hard places! I often tell people I’m terribly rigid and they don’t believe me – I think the truth is I am becoming much less so. Rock water Bach flower remedy is a good choice xxx
